I guess it has been long enough since I added anything to my blog. I'm still pretty bummed that I lost so many important pictures. I can't dwell much longer...they are gone.
I have been extremely busy. The summer has flown by. Here it is September already...only 23 days until the wedding. I finished the quilt this afternoon and take it to the quilter in the morning. I finished all the table runners and one of the little girls skirts. (I'm almost done with the other one!) I think my to-do list is shrinking fairly fast. Katie gave a bridal shower last Thursday evening and Stacy Julian is having one this Saturday morning. We've hit a few little snags, but in general, everything is coming together nicely.
As long as I keep myself totally busy, I don't dwell too much on the finality of it all. A whole chapter in my life will be over. The child-raising years went by all-together too quickly. I've had children in my home for nearly 35 years. This is just a tad-bit harder than I thought it would be. I've had children get married and leave before, but there was always somebody here to keep me busy and needed. Watch out yellow Corvette here we come! (Ask Jim about it!)

Don't worry- we will keep kids running around your house here and there! I am sure there are other family members who will too . . . You definitely are still needed- grandmas and grandpas are essential!

Jenna told me that Jim was going to buy a corvette but I havn't heard anymore talk about it. Thats great. I have great comfort in knowing when Deric leaves this time he will be in good hands Jenna is wonderful.
